Day one:

So I've decided to "sketch some random thing" everyday, so I can practice my art. And so far here's what i have for Day one ;)

He inspires me to no end. It's a bit mushy, but I aspire to be greater than I ever thought i could be since we met. I've never been so full of energy I can't seem to put this pencil and paper down. As funny as it sounds...

And with that out of the way, I know it seems rather confusing to be starting on the 10th day of the month, but better late than never I guess. lol

I'll be putting some poetry up too, if I write any... So basically the random nothings of my dull everyday life, some art and a poem or two to tie things together. It should be worth a read if I don't get lazy, which i might end up being after awhile, but let's see how things turn out.

So here's a poem i wrote, oh i don't know, a while back. I can't remember when, but when inspiration hits you, it hits you.

sitting beside you, watching you sleep
wondering what it is you're dreaming
finding my way closer to you
no fear of falling far or drowning

just the thought of your smile engulfs me
takes me in, makes me love you more
watching you, wishing you would know
you take me in making me love you so

wishing i could find my way to you
how i'd wish we could be together
lying beside you, if i could, if only i could
watching you sleep in hopeless wonder...

Anyway as you can see, my worst fears have become reality, well mine and a sea of dragon ball fans out there. What were they thinking when they decided to let dragon ball become another Hollywood disaster project. Ok when I saw the leaked photos earlier on, i thought, they can't possibly leave it like that, no way, the characters don't remind me anything at all of the REAL characters. Goku looks way too serious and they made him look like an immature coward. And that's not the Goku we all know and love! Goku is a funny outgoing guy who's never afraid of a battle! roshi doesn't look perverted and trust me that is not a good thing. And whats with the serious face?! What happened to dragonball. It's just not the same. And krillin isn't going to be in the movie? If this guy can pull off krillin why can't a big budget film? People keep saying it's because he's not an important character... Not an important character my ass. Krillin has been there since DB started, and he's Goku's best friend. Not only that he's married to Android 18! Anyone who can tie down a girl like that has got to have something going for him. Just kidding. That really has no connection to what I'm talking about. Anyway, besides the point of krillin not being there(Can you tell I'm a fan?lol). People are actually excited to watch it, sure its been overly sexed up for the rest of the world to enjoy... but please, is that really what dragon ball is about? It's just another sad money making excuse of a film Hollywood decided to cash in on because they ran out of comic book heroes. What's next? Sailormoon?

On a side note I must say piccolo doesn't look too bad. But then again... the rest of the movie is sucking for me, there had to be something good about it.

I have recently found these guys on youtube, and they are made of awesome! i mean seriously a talented bunch right here. The covers they do are simple breath-taking and not just because i LOVE acoustic stuff, but they just make you melt! i mean it, if you haven't seen these guys you MUST MUST MUST see them NOW. I mean pronto~!

Ok, so the Project Runway franchise has been introduced to the Philippines. And I must say since I'm a fan of PR, I felt compelled to watch it. Though I didn't enjoy the latest season, season 4 was ~FIERCE! like my favorite winner always said throughout the show Christian Siriano. And you just have to love his bubbly attitude and confidence. And i totally love all his designs, even the ones the judges didn't really like. :D Christians Site..Check it OUT!

Anyway on to the actual topic.. PRP, lol... I don't know something about that just makes me laugh. Moving on... I simply adore Eli, he's like my Filipino Christian with a twist. I don't know I just love his personality. And if he won, it would be a total underdog story. Ok recap for those of you who have no clue whatsoever of what I'm talking about. Project runway is a reality show/program on BravoTV, hmmm I'm not sure where the Filipino version fits in? lol... ok so I didn't do my research, so sew me...lol... it's a joke... Anyway. So we start off with 16 people and week after week someone gets eliminated until you come to 3 finalists. Who then showcases their collections and see who's the ultimate designer. The person who wins gets a bunch of cool stuff, i won't tell you everything just to kind of reel you into the show. I mean if you're into fashion... ;) Even if you're not you'll enjoy this show, trust me!

The Filipino version however, hmmm it's been a real rollercoaster for me watching it so far. One week you totally love it, the other you don't. Sometimes their designs are just perfect, other times it's just... blah...

It's not a great day for me today, but still have work to do and whatnot so, can't be too emo! lol..
I'm kind of in an art block right now... Whaaaat toooo drawwww... I have so many ideas for manga,
but i don't know what to draw! Well i guess that's pretty much all i have to say today...
